KPOP: SISTAR's Alone MV

I'll be honest, I was never a fan of SISTAR when they first debuted. In fact, their debut song sounded too cheesy to me. I hardly gave them any attention. I say this, and yet I have Shady Girl and Ma Boy in my iTunes. =_='' Shady Girl was just alright but the song that caught my attention was How Dare You. I was like, this was the same group that sang Push Push a while back? WOW.

This was during How Dare You promotions.

This is the sub unit that were formed, consisting of Hyorin and Bora affectionately named SISTAR 19

And then Ma Boy was released and I really liked that song. I bet everyone did. In fact, that song catapulted Hyorin and Bora into fame. They are far more recognized now what with Hyorin casted in Dream High 2 and Bora being a fixed cast member on Invincible Youth.

Now, just so you know, there are 4 of them in SISTAR and yes, the other 2 members are not as famous but the each member of SISTAR has distinctive features and it's quite easy to remember their names

First off, we have Hyorin, who is a vocal powerhouse and has also released a solo song for the drama Man of Honor, which btw is a must watch! :)

Next, we have Bora, who happens to be my bias and SISTAR's sexy rapper ;)

Thirdly, we have Dasom who normally sports a short haircut. ;)

Lastly, we have Soyu who has extremely long hair and wonderful vocals.

Anyways back to the mv, the song has this addictive intro at the beginning with Hyorin whispering some English lyrics in the background and of course, the repetitive usage of "Na honja" which basically means I alone is catchy and the dance moves were very sexy.

Hyorin sounded so darn good in this song too and its hard to not like her. I especially liked the bit where she sings "I'm falling down" twice. And yes, Hyorin basically sings the most but how can you complain when you get such a fantastic song to listen to?

I also like to commend the quality of the music video and I especially liked the long dresses they wore. They were unique and eye catching, to say the least.

In conclusion, I liked the music video and the song, Alone is very very catchy and refreshing to listen to. I've had my fair share of auto tune and I didn't like it one bit. In addition, I also happen to like how SISTAR worked the sexy concept as well. They should definitely stick to it and continue to release songs like Alone.

Last but not least, here's the music video for curious peeps to watch. :)
